Will Anderson emphasizes the Texans’ need for more regular-season wins to host playoff games
Houston: The Texans had a solid run in the playoffs, but their regular season left something to be desired. Will Anderson Jr. spoke up about it on Monday.
He mentioned, “We are right there,” showing confidence in the team. But he knows they need to step it up in the regular season to secure those crucial home playoff games.
Anderson pointed out that losing to teams like the Titans and Jets just can’t happen. It’s a tough pill to swallow, but it’s true.
Even if they had beaten those teams, they still would have been the No. 4 seed after a rough loss to the Ravens. They had some other tough games too, like the one against the Vikings and the close call with the Packers.
Looking ahead, the Texans will face their division rivals again and take on some tough teams from the AFC and NFC. They’ve been favorites to win the division for a couple of years now.
The big question is whether they can improve their record enough to get a better playoff seed. Beating teams like the Titans and Raiders will be key, but they’ll also need to perform well against the Bills, Ravens, and others.
