The Titans have completed interviews for their General Manager role with two top executives from the Packers and Buccaneers
Nashville: The Titans just finished up their in-person interviews for the General Manager spot. They met with Jon-Eric Sullivan from the Packers and John Spytek from the Buccaneers.
Before this, they had virtual chats with both guys over the weekend. Sullivan has been with the Packers for a long time, moving up to vice president of player personnel in 2022. He’s got a solid background, having worked as a co-director of player personnel and even as a college scout.
He started with the Packers back in 2004 and has been climbing the ranks ever since. Fun fact: his dad, Jerry Sullivan, was a coach in the NFL for over 40 years!
On the other hand, Spytek is in his second year as the assistant G.M. with the Bucs and has been with the team for nine seasons. He’s got a ton of experience, with 22 years in the NFL under his belt.
Before joining the Bucs, he worked with the Broncos and the Browns, focusing on college scouting. He kicked off his NFL journey as an intern with the Eagles back in 2005.
The Titans also had interviews lined up with other candidates like Ed Dodds and Terrance Gray earlier this week. It’s an exciting time for the team as they look to fill this important role!
