Chicago: So, the Titans just had a sit-down with Ian Cunningham, who’s currently the assistant G.M. for the Bears. They announced it on Wednesday night, and it sounds like they’re pretty serious about him for their G.M. spot.

Before this in-person chat, they had a virtual interview with him over the weekend. Cunningham has been with the Bears for three seasons now, working closely with their G.M., Ryan Poles.

He’s got a solid background, too. With 14 years in NFL front offices, he’s been around the block. He was the director of player personnel for the Eagles before this, starting that role in 2021.

Before that, he was the assistant director of player personnel and even ran the college scouting department for a bit. He’s got some serious experience under his belt.

Plus, he’s a two-time Super Bowl champ, having been part of the Ravens and Eagles front offices during their winning seasons. He kicked off his NFL career back in 2008 in Baltimore as a player personnel assistant.

Oh, and the Titans have been busy! They’ve also chatted with a bunch of other candidates, including folks from the Dolphins, Falcons, and Buccaneers. It’s a competitive search for sure!
