Nashville: The Titans just made a big move by hiring Mike Borgonzi as their new General Manager. He’s stepping in for Ran Carthon, who was let go earlier this month.

Borgonzi isn’t new to the game. He’s coming from the Chiefs, where he spent 16 seasons and was the assistant G.M. He’s got some serious experience under his belt.

They went through a pretty extensive search, interviewing ten candidates, with six of those being in-person chats this week at their training facility. They’re planning a news conference soon to introduce him.

Amy Adams Strunk, the Titans’ controlling owner, is really excited about this hire. She mentioned how Borgonzi has been part of a winning team, helping the Chiefs snag four AFC championships and three Super Bowl titles in just five years.

He’ll be teaming up with Chad Brinker, the president of football operations. Brinker praised Borgonzi for his role in turning the Chiefs around from a struggling team to champions.

It sounds like Borgonzi has a solid plan to bring that winning mentality to Nashville. He’s all about consistency, discipline, and hard work, which is exactly what the Titans need right now.
