Los Angeles: So, RedZone Channel has been the go-to spot for NFL fans who wanted to enjoy games without interruptions. You know, just pure football from start to finish. But last week, things changed.

For the first time ever, they aired commercials. Fans were pretty upset, especially since Scott Hanson always kicked off the show with “Seven hours of commercial-free football.” That tagline is now a thing of the past.

During the latest broadcast, Hanson simply said, “Seven hours of RedZone football.” It’s a clear sign that he can’t promise a commercial-free experience anymore. Interestingly, this week’s show didn’t have any ads, but the NFL is thinking about adding them regularly starting in 2025.

Hanson even apologized for the mix-up last week when he said it would be commercial-free. Honestly, the NFL should just come out and say they won’t run ads on RedZone. That way, Hanson can confidently use that catchphrase again without it being a lie.
