The Raiders are in a tight spot as Jakobi Meyers and Alexander Mattison are both questionable for their upcoming game against the Buccaneers
Las Vegas: So, the Raiders are dealing with some injury drama ahead of their game. Quarterback Aidan O’Connell is good to go after a full practice on Friday. He had missed Thursday due to an illness, but he’s back and ready to play.
Now, the real concern is running back Alexander Mattison and receiver Jakobi Meyers. Both are listed as questionable for the game against the Buccaneers. Mattison has been limited in practice all week because of an ankle issue. Meyers, on the other hand, returned to limited practice on Friday after sitting out Thursday.
Interestingly, Meyers wasn’t even on the injury report earlier in the week, so this sudden change is a bit surprising. The Raiders have already ruled out running back Zamir White and cornerback Nate Hobbs due to their injuries. Plus, tight end Justin Shorter is doubtful after missing two practices in a row.
