After the game, Sirianni shared some insights on what makes those big plays possible. It all starts with Hurts making the right calls at the line of scrimmage. He’s been doing a fantastic job of reading the defense and adjusting the plays accordingly.

But for those long runs, it’s also about the receivers stepping up. Sirianni pointed out how A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith made some key blocks. He even praised Smith’s technique on a block, saying it was textbook and something you’d want to show in a receiver class.
Brown, despite not having a big game in terms of catches, was pumped about his blocking. He said, “The stats weren’t there, but I made some huge blocks. I had two touchdown blocks. So I’m excited.”
