The Commanders pull off a wild-card win, while the Patriots hire Mike Vrabel as their new head coach
The home teams had a strong showing overall, with the Texans, Ravens, Bills, and Eagles all moving on. Sadly, that meant the Chargers, Steelers, Broncos, and Packers had to pack it up for the season.
But wait, there’s still one more game to catch! The Vikings and Rams are set to clash on Monday night in Glendale, Arizona, as wildfires continue to affect Los Angeles.
Looking ahead, here are the divisional-round matchups coming up next weekend:
On Saturday, the Chiefs will take on the Texans at 4:30 p.m. ET, followed by the Lions facing the Commanders at 8 p.m. ET.
Then on Sunday, the Rams or Vikings will go up against the Eagles at 3 p.m. ET, and the Bills will battle the Ravens at 6 p.m. ET.
In coaching news, the Patriots made a splash by hiring Mike Vrabel on Sunday. Meanwhile, the Jets, Bears, Raiders, Saints, and Jaguars are still on the hunt for their new head coaches.
