Los Angeles: So, Khalil Mack is gearing up for his 12th season in the NFL. Can you believe it? After three years with the Chargers, he’s going to hit free agency.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Mack is set to play in the 2025 season. After the Chargers lost to the Texans in the wild-card round, he mentioned needing time to think about his future. Looks like he’s decided he’s not done just yet.

In his time with the Chargers, Mack played in every game and wrapped up the 2024 season with six sacks. That’s a drop from 17 the year before, but he’s still going to be a hot commodity in free agency.

When asked about returning to the Chargers, he said it’s a no-brainer if they have Justin Herbert and Derwin James on the team. Plus, with Jim Harbaugh coaching, he feels they always have a shot at winning.

Mack’s had an impressive career, making it to nine Pro Bowls over 11 years. He started with the Raiders, then went to the Bears, and was traded to the Chargers before the 2022 season. Remember, he was named Defensive Player of the Year back in 2016!
