Los Angeles: So, Justin Herbert took a nasty hit to his leg during the game on Sunday night. It looked pretty rough, and he had to step out for a bit. But guess what? He only missed one play!

He came back and played like a champ in the second half. Herbert even helped the Chargers take the lead before the Chiefs snatched it back with a last-minute field goal. Coach Jim Harbaugh was super impressed with him.

Harbaugh said it was just a leg contusion and called Herbert “tough as they come.” That’s high praise! Herbert completed 21 out of 30 passes for 213 yards, throwing a touchdown and not a single interception. Most of that came after he got hurt.

Even though the Chargers lost and now have to face the playoffs on the road, Herbert’s performance was a big deal. He really showed what it means to be a warrior on the field.
