The New York Jets are reportedly bringing in Aaron Glenn as their new head coach after his successful stint with the Lions
Detroit: So, it looks like Aaron Glenn is moving on from the Lions to the Jets. After four seasons as the Lions’ defensive coordinator, he’s finally getting his shot as a head coach. Pretty exciting stuff!
Glenn really turned things around for the Lions’ defense, especially last season. He managed to keep the team competitive even with injuries piling up. Players respected him, which is a big deal in the NFL.
It’s wild to think how the Lions used to be seen as a joke in the league. But now, thanks to their general manager and coach, they’re actually a model franchise. Everyone wants a piece of what they’re building.
Glenn’s been on the radar for a lot of teams looking for new head coaches. His former coach, Dan Campbell, even said he’s one of the best out there. That’s high praise!
Fun fact: Glenn was a first-round pick for the Jets back in ’94. He played for 15 years before moving into coaching. It’s been a long journey for him, but it looks like it’s finally paying off.
After all those years, he’s finally getting the chance to run his own team. Can’t wait to see what he does with the Jets!
