Evan Engram’s injury leaves the Jaguars without their key tight end for the remainder of the season
Head coach Doug Pederson shared the news with reporters today. Engram has been a solid player, catching 47 passes this season. But at 30, his future with the team is uncertain.
Next season, his salary jumps to $14.75 million. If he doesn’t want to renegotiate, he might be cut. This is Engram’s third year with the Jaguars, after five seasons with the Giants.
