Geno Smith’s recent knee tests reveal no serious damage, boosting hopes for his return to the field soon
Seattle: Geno Smith had some tests done on his knee, and it looks like he dodged a bullet. The MRI results came back clean, showing no serious issues.
Coach Mike Macdonald was pretty upbeat about it, saying there are a lot of positive signs. He praised Geno for his toughness, noting that he’s still working hard despite the injury.
Smith got hurt during a game against the Packers when a rookie linebacker hit him low. He didn’t go back in after that, playing just over half the snaps in a tough loss.
Before the injury, he was having a solid game, completing 15 of 19 passes for 149 yards, though he did throw an interception.
This season, Geno has been impressive, completing nearly 70% of his passes and racking up over 3,600 yards with 14 touchdowns. Fans are definitely hoping to see him back on the field soon!
