Geno Smith left the game with a knee injury, raising concerns for the Seahawks’ playoff hopes after a tough hit in the third quarter
Seattle: So, Geno Smith took a nasty hit during the game against the Packers. It happened in the third quarter when he was trying to make a play. He jumped to throw the ball, and then bam! A Packers linebacker hit him right in the lower leg. Ouch!
He landed awkwardly and you could tell he was in pain. Thankfully, he managed to walk off the field with some help from the trainers, but it didn’t look good.
Backup quarterback Sam Howell had to step in right after that. The Seahawks were already struggling, and losing Smith could really shake things up for their playoff chances. They were sitting at 8-5, just ahead of the Rams, and this injury could be a game-changer.
If they lose their lead in the NFC West, they might even miss the playoffs. The Commanders are right there, eyeing that last wild-card spot. Fingers crossed for Geno!
