Philadelphia: The Eagles just snagged their ninth win in a row, clinching a playoff spot for the fourth year running. But the mood in the locker room wasn’t all cheers after their 22-16 victory over the Panthers.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts only threw for 108 yards, and when you factor in the four sacks, the passing game netted just 83 yards. So, it’s no shocker that wide receiver A.J. Brown mentioned they need to step up their passing game. He caught all four of his targets but felt it’s tough to find a rhythm when they’re not connecting through the air.

DeVonta Smith echoed those thoughts, also grabbing four catches. He emphasized the need for the team to be “on the same page.” It’s all about thinking alike and recognizing the right signals to make things click.

When asked if they should be worried about their chemistry at this point in the season, Hurts simply said no. He acknowledged that wanting to do more is a natural feeling for players like Brown and Smith. He believes it’s not about fixing problems but about building and progressing together as a unit.

Luckily for the Eagles, their passing struggles haven’t stopped them from winning. But if they want to go all the way, they’ll need to sort it out soon.
