Eagles defensive end Bryce Huff may not return after suffering a shoulder injury during the game against the Cowboys
Philadelphia: So, Bryce Huff, the Eagles’ defensive end, had a rough time in the game against the Cowboys. He barely got to play before he had to leave due to a shoulder injury. Now, he’s officially questionable to come back.
Just the day before, the Eagles had activated him to their 53-man roster after he had been out for a while. He hadn’t played since his wrist surgery last November. It’s been a tough season for him.
Without Huff, the Eagles will rely on their usual three-man rotation with Nolan Smith, Josh Sweat, and rookie Jalyx Hunt. They were hoping to have Huff back to strengthen their lineup, especially with the playoffs coming up.
Huff was a big signing for the Eagles, coming from the Jets with a hefty three-year, $51.1 million deal. But things haven’t really gone as planned. He lost his starting spot earlier in the season and had only managed a couple of sacks.
It’s a bummer for the team, especially since they were counting on him to make a difference. Let’s hope he can recover quickly and get back on the field!
