DraftKings has resumed betting on the next Dallas Cowboys coach, with Kellen Moore as the frontrunner after a brief pause.
Dallas: So, DraftKings is back in the game, allowing bets on who will be the next head coach for the Cowboys. They had to pause betting for a bit, but now it’s all systems go.
Right now, Kellen Moore, the Eagles’ offensive coordinator, is the favorite at -150. He had a virtual interview for the job just last Friday.
Following him is Deion Sanders, the coach at Colorado, sitting at +200. He was actually the top pick earlier this week, but things have shifted.
Then there’s Brian Schottenheimer, the current Cowboys offensive coordinator, coming in third at +250. It’s a pretty crowded field with 60 names in total, including Bill Belichick at 12-1 odds.
Now, Eagles fans might not be too happy about Moore taking time away from prepping for a playoff game to interview. It’s definitely a distraction, and it’s not just during the interview itself. He had to get ready for it, too, which means less time focusing on the Eagles’ game plan against the Rams.
Moore, who used to be a quarterback at Boise State, played for the Lions and Cowboys before moving into coaching. He spent five years coaching in Dallas, four of which he was the offensive coordinator. Most recently, he was with the Chargers in 2023 before joining the Eagles in 2024.
