Philadelphia: A.J. Brown had a bit of a wake-up call this week about his influence. You know, sometimes he forgets just how much people pay attention to him. During a game against the Packers, a FOX camera caught him reading a book called “Inner Excellence.” Suddenly, that book shot up to the top of Amazon’s best-seller list. Crazy, right?

Brown, being the humble guy he is, said he often forgets how big things can get. He’s just being himself and doesn’t mean to distract anyone. He even chatted with the book’s author, Jim Murphy, and praised the book. But not everyone was thrilled. Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni called it “lazy” for some folks to jump to conclusions about why Brown was reading on the sidelines.

For Brown, reading helps him chill out during games. He’s been doing it all season. He confidently stated, “I’m going to continue to be myself.” He’s not worried about what others think. After all, he’s a three-time All-Pro and knows he’s doing his job well.

Even with just 13 games played this season, he still racked up 67 catches for over 1,000 yards and seven touchdowns. He was named a second-team All-Pro again, even though he didn’t make the Pro Bowl.

Looking ahead, the Eagles are gearing up for some snow this Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field. Sirianni believes his team is tough enough to handle whatever the weather throws at them. They’ve been practicing at the stadium to get used to the cold and the field conditions.

In a recent game, the Eagles tried a risky play on 3rd-and-1, but it didn’t pan out. Jalen Hurts attempted a deep pass to Brown, but it fell incomplete. Still, they managed to convert on the next play with their signature Tush Push. Offensive coordinator Kellen Moore said they’ve been working on that play for weeks, and even if it didn’t work this time, it keeps defenses guessing.

Dallas Goedert, the tight end, had a solid game in the wild-card round, catching four passes and scoring a touchdown. He’s been limited this season but showed he can still make big plays. He’s confident in his abilities and believes his teammates know what he brings to the table.

On the flip side, free agent pickup Bryce Huff hasn’t had the season he hoped for. He barely played against the Packers and has become more of a rotational player. The Eagles might be stuck with him for a while, which is a bummer considering the expectations when they signed him.
